Our Journey through Adoption

July 11, 2005 - We have been home 10 months today!  I can't believe Molly has grown so much.  She has grown literally 3 inches since we got home.  She is becoming quite the little girl.  She is talking more and more each day and her new phrase is "Oh Man!" I think its hilarious!  She is learning her numbers, letters, and colors.  She tells me to stop at the "red" light and when it turns "green" she tells me to go!  She also is learning "taking turns" so that is interesting!  She tells people in line at the store that its almost her turn.
We took a break from gymnastics this summer.  But, that doesn't stop her from jumping around and flipping on the furniture!  She is quite the daredevil!  The poor thing has bruises all over her knees.
I've attached some photos of her in her latest.  She loves makeup and insists on wearing my lipstick.  So, we went to Walmart and bought her some of her own.
I hope you enjoy the updates - sorry its been so long!!!
Happy Summer - Love Becca, Craig and Molly

March 6, 2005 - Well, I can't believe its almost been 6 months since we brought Molly home to be with her forever family!  She is growing like a weed - its unbelievable!  She is talking more and more each day.  Her new words for the week are "I OVE You" without the letter "L".  She also loves the word "purple" and thinks everything color is purple.  If you ask her "What is your name?"  She says "Moyee" - she can't pronounce her "L" and then you ask "How old are you?" and she replies "Two!"
We also took our first trip to the zoo this past Friday!  She had a blast!  She had lunch with the elephants and couldn't believe the size of them.  She then went to see the lions and heard one of the roar pretty loudly!  She then thought that all the animals at the zoo roared!  She would walk up to the kangaroos and "Roar!"  It was hilarious!
She is also in gymnastics and loves it.  The coach tells me she is doing so well.  They teach alot of eye/hand coordination, balance, and many other physical developments things.  I am glad that I have her enrolled.
She is going to Kids Kare every Tuesday and Thursday!  She loves it and gets so excited when we pull into the parking lot.  She never cries, kisses me and says "Bye!"  She is out of my arms and in her class before I can blink.
Molly is still the joy of our lives!  She amazes us all the time.  Her vocabulary is getting better and better.  She has grown over an inch since we've had her and she is up to 25 pounds.  All of her pants are too short!
Well, I can't think of anything else.  Her favorite food is pizza and her favorite color is purple!  She loves eating vegetables and fruits.  She is a great eater!!!!
I better run and get some sleep!!!!  Thanks to all of you for keeping up with our life!!!  Love - Becca
